about

There's no drummer and yet the trio really swings, an underlying tough, though never explicitly stated groove seeming to propel the music forward. The recording is superb and really catches the punch and sweat of the session, from Stephens' hefty twangs to Coxhill and Gjerstad's joyous yelps - Dan Warburton Paris Tranatlantic December 2005

Frode was over to play some gigs with me and Paul Hession.
I recorded our Leeds concert - 'Live At The Termite Club’
I had asked Frode who he would like to do a studio session with while he was here, he immediately suggested Lol Coxhill - et voilà!
